Grün Berlin has been renewing the park in stages since December 2022, on a budget of about €16m for the whole park. In October 2026 the fences moved to the northern hill; the amphitheatre, home of the Sunday karaoke, follows once the 2026 season is over. Both are due to be finished by spring 2027.
