A €10m overhaul of everything around the palace now runs to 2030. The terrace and the theatre forecourt are done; the orange garden between the two orangeries and the Princesses' garden are due in 2026, with the Court of Honour, Luisenplatz and the palace square to follow, and the garden paths rebuilt throughout. A separate visitor centre west of the forecourt is planned for 2029, though its permit is still under review. The palace itself stays open.
