Herzog & de Meuron's barn for the Nationalgalerie's 20th-century collection has been under construction since 2019. Moisture damage in the shell is the latest delay; completion is now put at around the middle of 2030. Costs have risen from an early €200m to €526.5m. Works by Dix and Warhol stay in storage until it opens.
